Kim Sousa-Peoples, Ph.D. Director
Kim has worked in higher education for over 13 years. She earned her Ph.D.
from UNCG’s School of Education Curriculum and Instruction department,
studying higher education administration. She also holds a Master’s
degree in higher education and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, both
from The University of South Carolina. Prior to serving as the Director of
Orientation & Family Programs, she was the Assistant Director of Orientation for Parent and
Family Programs at UNCG and the Assistant Dean of Students at Sacred Heart
University in Connecticut.
Megan Moore, MA Assistant Director
Megan holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Peace and Conflict Studies, and Political Science from Guilford College. Prior to coming to UNCG, Megan worked for three years at the University of Virginia as a Program Advisor. In this role, she advised the University’s programming board and Arts Board program.
Rosi Crawford Business & Technology Manager
Rosi earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the UNCG Bryan School of Business and Economics.
She has worked for over 12 years in a corporate setting and gained much of her business experience
at a software design firm where she held various positions from product management to quality control.
Before becoming part of Orientation & Family Programs, Rosi was part of the UNCG Purchasing staff where her main job function was testing the SCT
Banner Finance System.
Carrie Brunt Whiteside Graduate Assistant
Carrie is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in the School of Education’s Student Personnel Administration in Higher Education program. She graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in English and Communications Studies. She also received her Teacher Certification from UNC-Wilmington. Prior to her arrival at UNCG, Carrie worked as a high school English teacher in the Wake County Public School System for two years.
Jessica Criswell Graduate Assistant
Jessica is earning her Master's degree in the School of Education's Student Personnel Administration in Higher Education program. She graduated in 2006 from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio with her Bachelor's degree in Secondary Integrated Language Arts Education. Before beginning her Masters at UNCG, Jessica worked for three years with the Precollege Orientation office at Ohio University, as a student advisor for two years, and an administrative assistant for one.
